What People Are Saying

Joe and I just wanted to let you know that your work and influence with Alfie (Year 10) has definitely paid off, he’s shocked not only us but himself also.  His result was a Grade 6.  We are all absolutely over the moon as it (English), is really his weak spot and not what any of us was expecting.  Thank you so much for your input; it’s definitely what’s got him there.  Janet is now tutoring Alfie’s younger brother Archie who is currently in Year 10 (2023).

Parents of GCSE English Student

Macie was in Year 9. I arranged English tuition with Janet.  She achieved a Grade 7 in her GCSEs.  Tuition continued with Janet to ‘A’ Level, and she achieved a Grade B in her English Language in 2022.  In January, 2023, Macie was offered a place in Manchester Metropolitan to study Speech and Language Therapy.  Janet tutored Macie’s sister Phoebe, who also successfully completed her GCSE English Language and Literature in August 2023.
Amanda B

Parent of GCSE English Students

Janet has helped my English massively. She would go through the question clearly and her handouts helped with consolidating the technique required to answer the variety of questions at GCSE level.

Overall, in my final GCSE English exams in 2022 I received a Grade 9 in English Language and a Grade 9 in English Literature.

I highly recommend hiring Janet’s services. You won’t regret it!
